San Diego Minimum Wage, Earned Sick Leave Laws Go in Effect

The City of San Diego has released new Minimum Wage and Earned Sick Leave notices.

Effective July 11, 2016, the minimum wage in the city of San Diego increased from $10.00 per hour to $10.50 per hour.

Additionally, employers must provide employees on hour of earned sick leave for every thirty hours worked. San Diego’s Minimum Wage Ordinance and earned sick leave requirements applies to adult and minor employees who work two or more hours in one workweek within the city’s geographic boundaries.
